De scanner communiceert tot op een afstand van 30 meter met de point-to-point. U kunt ook in point-to-multipoint-modus, is het in staat om met maximaal zeven Bluetooth-apparaten en alle compatibele Bluetooth-access point, terwijl de geïntegreerde batch modus kunt mobiele data collectie tot 1.200 codes. Deze worden automatisch zodra de scanner terugkomt binnen het bereik van het basisstation verzonden.
Een snelheid van 325 scans per seconde niet alleen de doorvoer, maar versnelt ook het scannen van moeilijk te lezen of beschadigde codes. De hoge resolutie van maximaal 3 mil en een leesbereik van meer dan een meter afstand zijn verder kenmerken waaraan het Gryphon BT extreem krachtig. De gepatenteerde »Green Spot« toeneemt ergonomie door kennisgeving aan de gebruiker visueel wanneer een code succesvol is gescand.
