The DS9300 Series has been designed to be operational throughout the entire day. Accordingly, the imagers handle a lot: shocks, vibrations and multiple falls from up to 1.5 meters onto concrete are no problem. According to their IP52 certification they are protected against dust deposits as well as sloping dripping water - thanks to their optomechanical design, the base is also splash-proof. The optional slipper-style multi-mount accessory allows the imagers to be fixed on a table or wall without restricting the tilt range from 15° to 45° - which is ideal for price verification or pick-and-pack operations. Additionally, the DS9300 Series is immediately ready to use via Plug & Play and is compatible with USB, RS-232, keyboard wedge and RS-485 interfaces. Zebra’s DS9300 Series is backward compatible with the cables and power supplies of the DS9208 - which saves on investment costs. Plus, the imagers will receive support from the Zebra OneCare Select, OneCare Essential and DataCapture DNA services. The Zebra DS9300 Series consists of particularly space-saving presentation imagers. Thanks to their compact shape and the 45° cable connector, they fit almost anywhere and look good in the colours alpine white or midnight black. As a result, they are suitable for the POS area in hospitality and retail, as well as for trendy boutiques or the hotel industry. A particular advantage of the DS9300 Series is its optional deactivation of EAS anti-theft tags. For this, the label only has to be scanned by the imagers. The DS9300 Series features a high-resolution megapixel sensor and a particularly powerful 800 MHz microprocessor with Zebra's exclusive PRZM Intelligent Imaging technology. In addition, reliability and fast capturing of barcodes in almost every condition, if desired even several at a time, are among the basic features of the series. The imagers capture 1D and 2D barcodes, particularly small, high-density codes, digital barcodes from monitors, as well as OCR, DotCode, and optional Digimarc. Plus, if necessary, they convert A6-sized documents into images. A clear good scan confirmation is provided by a beep which is adjustable in volume, frequency and duration, as well as light green, eye-friendly LED lighting.
