The large interface selection ensure smooth data transfer and high connectivity. This consists of USB-A 3.2, USB-C, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC and optional Ethernet. The ET85 additionally offers 5G and GPS as well as a nano and eSIM. The tablets are equipped with two speakers and four microphones with noise cancellation. During the design of the ET80/ET85 2-in-1 tablets, Zebra focused on a fanless design with high durability. For even greater performance and enhanced efficiency, the ET80/ET85 tablets access Zebra Mobility DNA and Scanning DataCapture DNA tools. These include Workforce Connect with various push-to-talk and text messaging features, and 123Scan for automated recognition and simplified configuration of the integrated scanner. The Zebra ET80/ET85 2-in-1 tablets are specifically designed for the public sector and are primarily used in manufacturing, state and local governments or utilities. Their detachable keyboards and 12" QHD display with 800 nits, 10-point touch and scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass make them easy (and fast) to use, even in sunlight, and impress with first-class performance in every situation and setting. Both tablets are much more flexible than a laptop: they are more than 35% thinner and 20% lighter than the primary 2-in-1 competitors with the same screen size. The ET80/ET85 tablets transform into a laptop or a full stationary or mobile workstation in seconds by simply attaching and detaching the robust keyboard. They meet e-Mark requirements and are therefore suited for usage in vehicles. Further equipment of the ET80/ET85 includes powerful 11th generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processors, as well as 8 or 16 GB RAM memory and 128, 256 or 512 GB SSD. The replaceable 5,180 mAh lithium-ion battery with PowerPrecision+ technology ensures long uptimes. Optionally available is a 3,400 mAh hot-swap battery with up to 11 hours of runtime. Plus, the tablets offer a 5 megapixel Windows Hello front camera and a rear 13 megapixel auto-focus colour camera with user-controlled LED flash. Depending on the requirements, an integrated 2D scanner with SE4107 scan engine and a Windows Hello fingerprint reader are also available. The scanner, which also reads poorly printed, damaged and scratched barcodes, is located in the lower right corner of the ET80/ET85 tablets. For staff in public service this offers the advantage of scanning documents more easily, even when the tablet is docked in the vehicle.
